März 2022Great stay and a great host. Maggie got back to me right away to answer questions. The condo is clean, beautiful and quiet. The bed was super comfortable. It was so great to have covered parking in the garage. There is a grocery store on the block, so it was so quick and easy to get food.

März 2022Unfortunately, we cannot give this host a positive review. While there were multiple items that did not meet our expectations (questionable cleanliness, a poorly functioning ice maker, chipped dish ware, ink stains on the sheets, hooks pulling from the wall) - the biggest issue we faced was a non-working TV and Wi-Fi.
After attempting to resolve this issue with our host, no progress was made after the third night of our four night stay. When asked if we would be okay with a technician coming to the rental on our last day, we declined as the inconvenience had already been a huge detriment to our experience.
While the host attempted to resolve the issue, the way he went about it was not satisfactory in my opinion. After numerous messages back and forth about the problem and attempts to troubleshoot, he continued to put all blame on the internet company vs. accepting responsibility. Countless apologies were made, but that doesn't make up for the fact these services weren't available to us - which greatly detracted from our family vacation. Eventually, the root cause of the problem was determined to be that since the host recently moved his personal address, the internet company wrongly disconnected service at the rental. And the only option to fix was the aforementioned technician on site.
I understand problems like this can occur. However, had the host checked this amenity as part of a pre-rent checklist (along with the other issues listed earlier), the outcome would have been much more favorable for both parties. As a customer, we should expect to have working amenities promised by our hosts. When problems occur, we should expect our hosts to go above and beyond to solve those problems, quickly and efficiently. As the customer, I believe this could have been avoided altogether and his decision to not conduct a pre-rent walkthrough became our burden to bare.
I'm not going to tell you don't rent this unit. However, I would say be cautious and do a thorough walkthrough upon arriving. And if during your walkthrough you find something that doesn't meet your expectations, address it expeditiously.
