Take the Ferry to the coastal town of Southport and spend the day strolling vintage and antique shops, cafe's.

Fun little trip to take the ferry over to Southport. Best place to eat in Southport is a place called Frying Pan, they have the best seafood chowder and the sweet potato biscuits are out of this world. Only downside is it can be a pain in the butt to get on the ferry sometimes and the drive from Southport to Wilmington is about an hour.
