Konoba Vinko is as unexpected as it gets. If you’re roaming around the area of Knin-Šibenik-Skradin this is the safest bet you’ll get around, even if you have to take off of the highway. It’s charming, offers great food and service for a very fair price. Located on the road taking you to inland Dalmatinska Zagora where you expect nothing but a classical lamb on a spit or some ancient version of a restaurant. BUT, Vinko offers more. Yes, their specialty are suckling pig on a spit, but it’s not just a pile of meat on a plate. Carefully served with the best homemade salad – it’s a comfort food you crave. Lamb livers or tripes, various meats under the lid, skradin risotto. Small, but mouth watering and carefully prepared menu. Even the desserts were a surprise, even though they are not really “traditional”. Another plus is they offer local (high quality) wines by the glass which is something we especially appreciate. It's not in neighborhood but I wan't to recommend it. Local cuisine with authentic local menu, excellent service, rustic ambience.

NEAR SIBENIK Great stop when visiting Krka National Park. One of the most authentic Croatian restaurants, the menu is limited, but everything is really good there. Uz cestu 57, 22221, Konjevrate +385 22 778 750
