This is one of my favorites neibourhoods. People from Malaga usually goes to this neighbourhood for eating the typical BBQ fish and fried fish. Typical restaurants "chiringutos" place the tables next to the beach sand. Prices are good. You can enjoy nice food and the beach at the same time. My recommendations: - El Cabra - El Tintero - will find a kind of fish auction - El Pez Tomillo I love the sunset at Los Baños del Carmen. Incresible environment.

Lots of restaurants, cafés, bars etc right on the beach. Nice environment, local people, beautiful views, something for every taste

Go and take the No 3 or 11 bus from Paseo Parque (or walk the boardwalk from Malaguetta all the way, approx 1 ,5 hours) and walk along the boardwalk in Pedegalejo. The Unesco protected fishing village is worth a visit and offers great outdoor on the beach dining at the famose Chiringuitos. Try the Espetos from a stick!
