The filter room is close by and an awesome spot to have a nice afternoon lunch at. They also brew their own beer and cider in house that is amazing.

The Filter Room Ale & Cider House with its impressive wall murals depicting traditional brewing methods, subtle lighting and inviting decor, offers more than just a destination. Its contemporary rustic decor, airy cool bar and shaded outdoor area, surrounded by a beautiful orchard, provides visitors with the opportunity to not only try Hawke's Bay's largest range of locally brewed beverages, but to also relax in an idyllic rural setting. The Tasting Room has a selection of 18 beers and ciders on tap, as well as a premixed Vodka and Lemon and a Bourbon and Cola. Try their famous "BUG" Ginger Beer.
