Cheung Sha beach, a lovely long strip approx 15 min by bus from Mui Wo houses several restaurants. One, 'The Stoep" is well known for South African dishes and grill. Enjoy!
South African restaurant with the kind of service and care you get from the chef and the team makes that warmth turn into friendship The food is the best on Lantau island and even better than most of the expensive soho restaurants I've been to And it's not part of a "chain" serving mass market food This is real home cooking at its best - recipes you will want to try to recreate but easier just have the great comfort and charm of being there enjoying the garden the sea and must of all the friends you will meet! Bobotie with the special rice, the tender chicken breast, and crispy succulent fish and chips are all served with great quality wine! And the best secret are the lovely potatoes that are au gratin and will have you begging for more! - they inspired me to come back several times for "seconds"! Great job whoever is in charge! I never write reviews but you were the best on my trip - hope to see you every chance I get!
