A little outside of New Paltz, but a local brewery with a cute little bar. Very nice atmosphere and usually there is live music.

Only open for a few hours each weekend day (usually 3-8ish - please confirm for yourself) but they almost always have live music and its a happening place to go. Places for kids to play and good bar food to go with the beers, sangria, and cocktails.

Enjoy local beer, wine, and craft cocktails in a converted barn at Wright’s Farm. They are only open on Saturday and Sunday from 4pm - 7pm with live music and light snacks. Stop for a pre dinner cocktail or on your way home from a day of hiking.
