Lovely area with events year round. Farmers market on the weekends during the summer time.

Not Dog Friendly but still worth a visit. Tour Tram takes you around the park. Orchid Conservatory and $5 bike rentals.

Wonderful walking trails and interesting buildings. The indoor Orchid Observatory is a must see!

Duke Farms is a leader in environmental stewardship and inspires visitors to become informed stewards of the land. It is a place of education, enjoyment and research that enhances the environmental health of the region. Formerly the residence of Doris Duke, the property is now managed by a foundation. The Duke mansion was demolished in 2016 by the foundation’s trustees despite opposition from local historians and residents.
