Great for a quick hike or bike ride that feels out of town but is just outside the city.

Great hike close to town with wonderful views. Great for mountain biking too. In the summer must watch out for rattlers - go early in the morning as it gets hot. No shade.

Devil's Backbone Nature Trail is a 4.3 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Loveland, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. Don't forget your camera! Rattle snakes have been spotted on this trail (as they have most trails in Colorado), so please keep an eye on your children and pets.
