Sutherlands Grove is a stunning woodland walk that takes you through ancient Woodland and waterfalls and the occasional red squirrel. It takes about 40 minutes to walk upto the reservoir and the trail can be looked at the the start of the walk. There are other routes you can take varying in walking time however we both like the route that goes upto the reservoir. Try and see if you can spot the wooden trolls that live under the bridge! Just park at the Car park at Sutherland’s Grove and take a walk up into the forest following the river upstream and along the gorge. Look out for red squirrels, woodpeckers and wild blueberries in August. Follow the signs to the reservoir. You can walk around it as well, or just follow other routes through the forest.

Sutherlands Grove includes a few different trails with the longest trail finishing with spectacular views of a dam. Very popular with local people. Located in Barcaldine just out of Oban.
