In the evening, enjoy yourself with a dinner on the sea at the Borgo Marinari. You can taste delicious seafood by Zi Teresa or have a drink in ones of the bars. Alternatively you can start coming home through Santa Lucia along Monte Echia, foundation place of Partenope. Here there is a nice Veggie Restaurant named Cavoli Nostri.

On the promenade of Via Caracciolo and near the entrance to the beautiful Castel dell'Ovo is one of the most beautiful places in Naples, the Borgo Marinari. Going over the small bridge and leaving the circle of the Sail on the left, you suddenly enter a world apart that seems to have come out of the old Alinari photos of the 1800s. Here you are, you've come to the old Borgo Marinari fishermen's marina in the Santa Lucia area. On the old islet of Megaride is a beautiful area preserved and protected by the castle that protects and watches over it. Here it is very special, it is a citadel full of bars, restaurants, pizzerias and hookahs where everything is wrapped in a special atmosphere, far from the frenetic pace of the city and where time seems to have stopped. From Casa Carmela it is about 15 minutes walking.

ENTRATA LIBERA La vita del borgo è legata alle attività del suo porticciolo e di quelle del confinante borgo Santa Lucia di cui costituisce lo sbocco a mare. In passato da qui partivano gli scafi blu dei contrabbandieri di sigarette. Solo negli anni '90 le forze dell'ordine sono riuscite a debellare definitivamente questi lucrosi traffici. Oggi il borgo è stato ripulito e ospita prevalentemente attività culturali e turistiche. Il porticciolo supporta il funzionamento dei circoli nautici della banchina Santa Lucia dove sono ormeggiati numerosi motoscafi, yacht e barche a vela. Oltre al castello, il borgo consta di poche abitazioni. I sei palazzi, tutti a due piani, ed al centro c'è una piazzetta. Data la vocazione turistica, le attività commerciali sono per lo più bar e ristoranti, ma non mancano negozi ed officine per la nautica.
