A beautiful canyon year round. Drive to small reservoirs along the Logan River known as First, Second and Third Dams. Enjoy nature trails beside the river or there are several more strenuous hikes to choose from. A ranger station located at the top of the hill before the descent into the canyon (closed on Saturdays and Sundays) is an excellent resource for ways to enjoy this canyon and all of the surrounding outdoor areas. Be sure to ask about "Old Ephraim" the last grizzly bear to ever roam this area.

If you are up for a beautiful drive, Logan Canyon is the place to go! When the leaves begin changing color for fall, there is no place more beautiful than Utah’s Cache Valley and its nearby canyons and mountains. The summer months offer conditions that are perfect for sightseeing, horseback riding, hiking, biking, hunting, camping, and other outdoor activities. During winter, Beaver Mountain offers great downhill skiing.

It would be quite a loss to come all the way to Cache Valley ans not take a drive and/or hike through the Canyon! Rivers, streams, lakes, and breathtaking scenery is a MUST SEE and DO.

From Logan to Garden City in the Bear Lake Valley, this byway parallels the Logan River through Logan Canyon, passing through dense forests, lush meadows, rugged rock formations and panoramic views. Each season brings a colorful show, especially in autumn.
