The good thing about this lively but relatively unknown night market is that it’s small and clean. It made up of just 1 lane alongside Limelight Avenue Phuket. It takes about 15-20 minutes to take the whole place in and it has a happy, carefree feel to it. Phuket Indy Market or locally known as Lard Ploy Khong which means the market where sellers sell their special items especially handmade products. Most items are almost unique and they could not be found in general stores or shops. A wide array of chic clothes, shoes, woman fashion accessories and a lot more. When entering the market you will find gift and accessories stalls in the first zone, men and women clothes in the middle and lastly food zone. Many interesting food and drink stalls are waiting for visitors to try and there are a number of tables in this area for those wishing to sit, eat and drink while listening to live music from the small market stage nearby. Phuket Indy Market is easy to find right adjacent to the Limelight Department Store in Phuket Town. This market takes place every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 4pm till 10.30pm.
