IORI SHIROYAMA is located on a hill overlooking Takayama and is a vila of traditional Japanese architecture, only one group per night. We have created a peaceful and high-quality space using natural materials and traditional Hida crafts. After detoxifying in the sauna, enjoy a retreat to shed your daily fatigue. Take a car or bus to Gokayama, where the air is clean and the water is delicious! From the nearest interchange, it's less than a 5-minute drive, but we recommend taking the local roads while enjoying views of the mountain-ringed Gokayama. Even if you don't have a car, you can get off at Shin-Takaoka Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen, take the World Heritage Bus, and get off at the nearest bus stop while enjoying the mountain views from the window. Essai is just a two-minute walk away.
