ここは今も人々の生活が根付いている、落ち着いた城下町。風情を感じて、昔の広々とした静かな古民家のお部屋で、忙しい日常を忘れましょう。 2023年5月公開の映画『銀河鉄道の父』のロケ地です。萬勝商店もその映画に出ています。「役所広司さん」の古本屋のシーンはこの宿で撮りました。 岩村城址へは歩いても車でも行けます。ぜひ足を運んで、ここでどんな戦いがあったのか思いを馳せてみてください。 他の観光地のようにたくさんの観光客がいないので、城下町の生活を独り占めできます。岩村ファンが継続して来てくださいます。 午後４時を過ぎるとしーんとした静けさに驚くことでしょう。夜の本通りを歩くと、ぼんぼりのような行灯が並び、とても幻想的です。 「夏至」の日に、夕日が通りの先にまっすぐ落ちていき、とても美しい風景を見ることができます。（天候にもよりますが、毎年６月の半ばの前後１週間程、18時半くらい） この建物内では、レトロ着物レンタルと着付けも運営しております。着物を着たい方はぜひご予約くださいね。宿泊のお客様は、割引料金になります。 建物の奥に、裏庭や蔵もあり、忍者気分にもなれるかも(^-^)

〜お客さまからのお声〜 ・実家に帰ってきたように落ち着いた環境で、ほっと一安心でき、長旅の疲れが癒されました ・部屋数も多く、広々とした空間で本当にくつろげた ・６月　夜お部屋から見える田んぼに蛍が現れ、とても幻想的だった ・７月　暑い日にはエアコンを使い、しっかり涼む事が出来た ・８月　夏休み　家族や友だちとの宿泊を楽しむことが出来た(川遊びやバーベキューなど、都会では出来ない体験が出来た) ・９月〜11月　中山道　馬籠宿や妻籠宿(サムライロード)や苗木城、付知峡、歌舞伎座等日本を感じる事が出来る観光地を存分に楽しむ事ができた 12月　日本の掘りごたつで温まりながら、ほっこり出来た 読書や勉強、仕事もはかどるお宿だった ・浴室には、ゆっくり浸かる事が出来る浴槽があり、まるで温泉に入っているかのように１日の疲れを取ることができた シャワーの水量も快適だった ・トイレは、ウォッシュレットも利用出来て最適 ・寝室は、６帖の和室と10畳の和洋室があり、畳の上に敷かれたふわふわのお布団でくつろげた ・お部屋からは、田んぼやお茶畑を見ることができ、とても静かな空間だった
