Tubara is in the Higashiyama in Kyoto. You can go to so many sights (Kiyomizu temple, Kenninji temple, Yasaka shrine, Fushimiinaritaisha, Gion area, Kamo river, downtown..) on foot! Also very convenient for tranceportation. bytaxi from KYoto st. Tsubara was 100y old Machiya, we lovely restored all possible to original style using antique fittings & materials by traditional craftsmanship. We love Tsubara, we hope the guests too! Outdoor bath & Suikinkutsu make amazing time for you.

Please experience or your friends and genuine good old Japanese life with your family. You can feel free to use, such as 12 people a large digging your stand is there an event-party sit at the same time. This house was built 120 years ago and stayed by a lot of people who have plan to go to Koya-san. The house is in front of the river and you can take a look. It will make relaxed. We can do tea ceremony, if you want. We have 2 toilet and 1 bath room with big bath tab made by a Japanese special wood, Hinoki. There is a 24h super market, Okuwa near the house.(5 min away by a car) And high rank Japanese beef restaurant(2 min by a car) You can enjoy Yakiniku.
