We're a Dutch couple whose lodge is nestled in the mountains of Madarao in Japan. Our lodge provides capacity for a max of 20 guests divided over 5 units. Our cozy, comfortable space makes for a great base to explore the mountains around the region. During winter, we offer private ski/snowboarding lessons, and side and backcountry guiding. We cater to guests during all other seasons too and offer fine dining experiences during your stay. We aim to create the perfect vacation experience for you!

Heidi Apartment

Heidi is an apartment-style room connected to the egg-shaped main lodge, perfect for families or groups. With high ceilings and a spacious living area, it can host up to 8 guests. White wood walls and warm sunlight create a relaxing space. The large loft has two double beds and is accessible by two staircases. The kitchen and large dining table make it ideal for meals or small parties. Two entrances—one from outside and one from the main lodge—make moving around easy. Dog-friendly (optional).

The best things about Alpha Lodge are its wonderful & welcoming atmosphere and easy going country hospitality. The close proximity to the lifts & the Madarao Kogan Hotel and its amazingly relaxing Onsen (hot spring bath), is just an easy 200m walk and the views are amazing. Alpha Lodge was built around 40 years ago so you would expect that it is a bit tired in appearance but we are transforming bit by bit. King or Twin Superior

This room is a Japanese Tatami room with western beds. The room is a south east facing room with great sunlight throughout the day. The beds can be set up as 2 x single beds or 1 King size bed. Extra futons can be added with up to 3 people able to stay comfortably. Extra costs per person for larger groups. Room includes: Buffet breakfast, Free wifi, 1 king or 2 single Beds plus extra futons if needed, sun room area, tissues, bedside table, bedside lamp, bath towels, heater.

Two Bedroom Suite With Private Bathroom

We are a family run mountain lodge in a beautiful, isolated location. The lodge is in a national park, riverside, at the base of mountains towering 1300m above. Hiking trails start at the front door, swimming in the river during Summer is deliciously refreshing. See the seasons changing in Autumn on a walk to Ichinokura (2 hours round trip) or Tanigawadake Ropeway (10 mins walk) or climb Mt Tanigawa from the base. The snow in Winter is of excellent quality and plentiful.

Price per room for 1-2 guests is 25,000 yen (16 + rooms total in lodge). Access to 3 chairlifts within 100 metres. Private guest only licensed bar with billiards table in lodge. Use of dining, laundry, commercial size kitchen, large ski dry rooms. Rental store directly behind lodge. Ski in ski out to both Cortina and Norikura. Amazing location! Located a 15 min walk / 4 min drive from Tsugaike kogen ski area, a beautiful log cabin villa at the end of the road. The home features five ensuite bedrooms, carpeted and wood flooring throughout the home and heating throughout - everything you need to keep warm and cozy while enjoying the winter. The place is really quiet and peaceful surrounded by forest. Parking available. Breakfast included.

石打丸山スキー場の中腹にある家族運営のロッジの1室（最大27部屋貸し出し可能）

建物は古いですが、スキー場のど真ん中で自然を満喫できます！ 朝食（1500円）夕食（2,000円）を事前予約でつけられます。自家製魚沼産コシヒカリ・野菜を使ったお料理が大評判。 冬場はリフト券が必要です。姉妹店のバードランドに車を置いてください。 ※注意点※ 冬季のスキー場OPEN中は、リフト券がないとチェックインができない立地です。サンライズゴンドラ上り線→チロルトリプルリフト下り線に乗り継ぎ、チロルリフトに乗ったところでお電話をしていただく必要があります。電話をいただければ、チロルトリプルリフトを下ったところまでスノーモービルにてお迎えに上がります。 もちろん車で来ることはできませんし、リフト券を買わないと来られません。 日本の電話番号もしくは当館のLINEを登録していないと電話ができないので迎えに行くこともできません。
