Modern 3 bedroom house located only 100m from the beautiful Ligar Bay beach. The house sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms. The house is perfect for your summer or winter getaway. We do not allow pets. Bed linen provided as well as one bath towel per person. Please bring your own beach towels. Just a heads up that we provide hand soap for guest use, but for reasons of hygiene and personal preference please bring your own body wash, shampoo and conditioner.

Te Whare o Kea provides simple shelter for trampers, bikers and other nature lovers. The location also makes it perfect for a retreat. A non profit social enterprise and a Gold Kea Sponsor, guest stays have enabled over $20,000 worth of donations to the Kea Conservation Trust. It also supports monitoring of kea nest sites in the Cobb Valley and maintains a 17 trap trapline.

Only a 5 minute stroll to Pohara beach 300m away, and a 5 minute drive to explore nearby Ligar Bay and Tata Beach, 2 minute drive to the Abel Tasman memorial lookout on the way, with a shop and eateries nearby also.
