Segelabenteuer in der Bucht How Sound
Prepare yourself for an adventure that balances the thrill of sailing Howe Sound's legendary winds with the breathtaking views of the Coastal and Tantalus mountain ranges. We will depart from the docks in Squamish (about 40 minutes north of Vancouver on the highway to Whistler) and raise the sails as we pass beneath the legendary Stawamus Chief granite monolith and Shannon Falls. Regardless of expertise or ability, you will learn about sailing and experience unbounded excitement as the wind fills our sails and accelerates our 40' sailboat across the waters of Canada's southernmost fjord. Take a turn at the helm or grind a winch to trim sails - the more involved you become, the more fun you will have. A dance of colourful kites await as we tack offshore in the afternoon's inflow winds. The same topographic phenomenon that makes the area perfect for sailing attracts kiteboarders from around the world. We will explore the northern section of the Howe Sound fjord and promise many photo opportunities that will stand amongst the highlights of your trip. With a little luck, we may even sight a pod of dolphins or Orcas! Welcome aboard - let's have some fun. Other things to note We respect our oceans and try to minimize our environmental impact. Please choose aluminum containers for beverages instead of plastic or glass, and avoid the use of plastic bags and plastic wrap. Tx!

Important: we are a 100% CATCH & RELEASE guiding company. Under no exceptions do we bring home fish to eat. Minimum age requirement of 16 After we pick you up from your Airbnb in Whistler we will head over to one of the stocked lakes in town to catch Rainbow Trout which on average range between 10 & 14 inches in length. I will set up a large portable ice fishing shelter which will have a heater inside to keep you nice and toasty. After drilling a few holes into the ice with my powered Auger, I will have you fishing in no time. If it's a nice day you can move around the lake a lot more. This way, you can take in all the beautiful scenery the area has to offer which includes Whistler and Blackcomb mountain in the background. There is a good chance we will have the lake all to ourselves. It's the perfect getaway when you need a break from skiing and want some quiet time. This is truly a Canadian experience that you must cross off your bucket list. Great for groups, great for teams, and great for team-building.

Important: we are a 100% CATCH & RELEASE guiding company. Under no exceptions do we bring home fish to eat. Minimum age requirement of 16. All guests must weigh between 100-280 lbs (45-127 kgs) After picking you up from your accommodation in Whistler we will get you looking like a local BC angler by putting you in a pair of waders and boots. This allows you to get into the water and stay completely dry. Depending on the time of year, you may catch Rainbow Trout, Bull Trout or Cutthroat Trout and your experienced fishing guide will select a water body that will give you the best chance of catching one of these species. Because of this, you may be fishing in a creek mouth, river or lake. Our thought process is simple. Drive less and fish more to maximize your time out on the water fishing. This experience involves fly fishing because it is the most productive way to catch trout in BC even if you've never done it before. I am very confident that we can teach you how to fly fish like the pros. This is truly a Canadian experience that you must cross off your bucket list. All guests 16 years of age and older must also purchase AND save their 1 day BASIC British Columbia freshwater fishing licence to their phone. This is NOT included in the Airbnb price

Wandern mit Ziegen
A guided hike through beautiful lake and mountain scenery, hosted by Pickles and Peanut, French Alpine goat brothers! Their "parents" come too, to ensure you are guided on the less-busy but still human-accessible trails. On the two hour adventure we will: - Meet at Grafton Lake parking area next to Grafton Road. - Start with 10 minutes of intros and "Goat 101" to learn how to safely interact with Peanut and Pickles. - Walk around the lake. - Stop at viewpoints along the way, where we'll offer to take photos of you with the goats. - End back where we started. Private hike options include: - Customized trail route such as up to the lookout in our main photo, or to cool natural tree forts! - Special arrangements for a longer, more challenging hike to the summit of the iconic Mount Gardner. A few considerations: Families as well as dogs on leashes are welcome, but please note that Peanut and Pickles are still growing and learning, and their headbutt play behaviour may intimidate children and dogs. You are welcome to request dates, but these will be considered "private hikes". This adventure is "rain or shine"! The boys look adorable in their rain coats, so (pending a major storm) we'll enjoy whatever mother nature brings our way. Finally, the boys love to meet people, and they can't wait to show you their beautiful backyard!

The Craft Beer Revolution & Tasting Tour
Vancouver has a huge craft beer scene and is considered the best in Canada! Join me on a neighbourhood culture crawl among Vancouver's most interesting local breweries. Learn about the craft beer movement and the culture that surrounds it while enjoying beer tastings only available in Vancouver. We'll start with unique access to a historic local brewery to see, smell, taste and learn the basics of 4 seemingly simple ingredients that create over 100+ distinct styles of beer in the world. We'll enjoy a hand crafted beer recipe that is exactly what beer tasted like centuries ago. As we enjoy a light walk downhill to visit 2 other very different breweries in the neighbourhood, I'll explain how the craft beer subculture was recently revived and why it's quickly gaining in popularity. Our beer tastings will include stories of popular American craft beers styles of today - many of the beers we taste are small batch, meaning they're only available in the breweries we visit. No doubt we'll likely get into some healthy banter over which ones are the best. Whether you’re brand new craft beer or a veteran, you’re sure to enjoy these very local and very tasty beverages and meeting the people who make it.
