There are numerous dining options within walking distance. Most are located on West Broadway between Broadway T Station and F Street, and the last two on Dorchester Street and Broadway. All are rated very good! Amrheins-American fare Worden Hall-American fare, many beers on tap Fox & Knife-Italian. Owner is a James Beard award winning chef who has appeared on TV shows "Top Chef" and "Beat Bobby Flay". Bar Volpe-Italian-same owner as Fox & Knife Moonshine 152-food from around the world LuLu Green-Vegetarian/Vegan Loco Taqueria and Oyster Bar Lincoln Tavern-American Capo-Italian Hunter's-Southern comfort food Fat Baby-Asian a little further walk at Old Colony and B St: Castle Island Brewing Shy Bird-focus is on chicken-fried and rotisserie PKL-happens to be a pickle ball bar and restaurant The Seaport District is loaded with higher end restaurants. There is so much to do in South Boston! Historically, an Irish neighborhood... now South Boston is home to college students, young professionals and families. The area has a vibrant bar scene with a lot of restaurants and nightlife spots, as well as family-friendly parks and walking paths. Enjoy the bars on West Broadway, or a walk around Castle Island with the little ones.

South Boston is a densely populated neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, located south and east of the Fort Point Channel and abutting Dorchester Bay. South Boston, locally known as "Southie," is easy to get around by foot, is on the MBTA Red Line, has many bars/restaurants, and also has access to the beach and attractions like Telegraph Hill and Castle Island.

Great place for bars, and restaurants, whether it’s for brunch or watching NE sports teams- home to L Street Tavern, which was the bar in “Good Will Hunting.”

Well since you are staying here its pretty hard to miss, but luckily there is so much to explore in South Boston. South Boston is a up and coming city with a dirty past (i.e Whitey Bulger). Broadway is the main drag of Southie where you will find bars, restaurants and boutiques. Make your way down Broadway and you will find the beach. Enjoy watching windsurfers along Pleasure Bay, walk along Castle Island, or enjoy some sun on Carson beach. For a more historical side of Southie take a stroll up Telegraph Hill (I am being poetic when I say stroll...its a big freaking hill, but worth it for the views). LOCAL TIP: The best Pizza in Southie is Red Line Pizza right next to Andrew Station (yes, it looks sketchy..part of its charm). Order the Buffalo Chicken Ranch pizza...You're Welcome.
