Ideal for a couple or solo traveller there is a private outside BBQ and patio space, wifi and car parking on site. The unit is a 4km paved walk to The Queen Elizabeth Park and CBD

Welcome to Longforde, a very special, charming and beautifully furnished cottage attached to our main home but completely independent with your own access and landscaped to ensure your absolute privacy. Set on 4 acres of stunning gardens, each room has private rural views of the countryside and Tararua ranges. We are located at the end of one of Greytowns most beautiful streets, a walkable 2km into the shops and cafes. As well, we are on a popular walking and biking route to the Waiohine river.

Not only are you beachfront but around the corner from the golf club and tennis courts. This wee gem is one of five holiday bachs, so respect of the other owners is premium, as is yours. You have your own very private, sun drenched sheltered deck with a bbq provided. A queen bed in one room, and a double and single in the other. The kitchen has all your essentials and even a dishwasher. There is a TV with a Chromecast, children's games, toys and videos are plentiful. Walk in and just relax.

White shed, modern rustic

Our rural shed is a spacious self-contained getaway with sun and views of the surrounding countryside. It is best suited for 2 guests, but can accomodate 4, with a queen size bed upstairs and a fold-out sofa in the living room. A fold out bed is available for children. We stock the kitchenette with free range eggs, locally made bread, homemade jam, butter, milk, tea and coffee. There’s a BBQ available. We’re 5 minutes walk to the Carterton shops and near the railway station.

Halford Hideaway

This is a luxury self contained Tiny house. Nestled on the edge of a pond surrounded by expansive gardens and farmland. There are some small walking tracks to take you around the QE ll Trust wetland and ponds, and for those that are a little more energetic a walk to the top of the hill can provide you with stunning views. Perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy an outdoor wood fire bath over looking the pond! Unfortunately cell ph reception can be patchy at the Tiny house.

A lovely two bedroom Lockwood bach at Castlepoint. Open plan kitchen, dining, lounge. A great deck to enjoy the view! Comfortably sleeps 4 in 2 Queen rooms along with a nice leather sofa-bed in the lounge. The property is set just over half way up Guthrie Crescent so you know the view is a winner. The Tree House is a perfect, off-the-grid retreat for nature lovers, where you can listen to birdsong, see the sunrise from the deck and hear the river flowing in the valley. Two minutes walk and you come to The Watermill Bakery serving delicious pizza on Friday evenings. The Tree House is close to a small productive lavender farm, Lavender magic, who sell cut flowers in season, and Mount Holdsworth, where you will be able to access a wide variety of walking tracks.

This quirky beach side A frame sits right on the sand dunes. Great outdoor furniture on both sides of the house, double BBQ, fire for the winter, dishwasher, washing machine, and only steps from the beach. Perfect for families in the summer or a romantic getaway for a couple in the winter. The view from your bed upstairs is gorgy! . Sorry, not suitable for under 5's because of the spiral stairs. No parties or groups thanks.
