The main bedroom is detached from the living and kitchen, which has a fold out couch for extra guests. Karearea Cottage is on 4 acres with a horse and pony next to the cottage. We are central to the Waikato, minutes from the Waikato Expressway/SH1 - approx. an hours drive to Auckland, west coast surfing/fishing beaches like Raglan, 90 mins to east coast Coromandel's world renowned beautiful beaches, a short drive to Hakarimata bushwalks with 800 year old Kauri, Golf Course, Hot Pools, Huntly Speedway, 20 minutes to Hamilton, Hampton Downs Raceway, and lovely cafe's a short drive.

Relax at a unique and tranquil getaway, cosy, romantic and immersed in nature. An open plan studio nestled next to a gentle stream on the native forested foothills of Whale bay, Raglan. An easy 6 min walk to the surf at Whale bay, Indicators or Outside Indicators a few mins drive to Manu bay or Ngarunui beach. Warm and cosy with a beautiful open fire, modern insulation & large double glazed sliding doors. The heat pump heats the studio within 15mins.

Private studio with spectacular views. Hosts house on same property so readily available, self catering but meals available by arrangement. A place to relax and get away from it all, nearby Nikau Caves and Cafe, Port Waikato surf beach and Harkers Resrve for Bush Walks ,We now have aircon and wifi. We do have a couple of dogs who like to greet guests in the morning with a bark but it doesn’t go on for long and not every morning
