Located in a quiet, safe, and natural area, the room sits on a hillside with a great view of Kōchi City. Cleaned by the host, it’s ideal for two guests. Free PL for SMALL CAR. There are cheap restaurant & supermarket . Kōchi Castle and Hirome Market are 20 minutes away by trum and the Niyodo River is 15 minutes by car. A light breakfast is provided for your first morning.

There is a small river and a nice old house of Japanese style next to the house .The tool of the barbecue is prepared. （Please bring an ignition agent and charcoal） it's comfortable in summer as the temperature is a few degrees lower than in the city. As of 2024, mobile phones have become much easier to connect to. （no wi-fi） The air conditioner was installed in 2022, but it is only on the first floor.Enjoy the natural air. There is a fan. Firewood isn't available from May as it will be warmer.

プロ野球のキャンプ地として有名な高知市春野運動公園迄車で5分 桂浜迄車で12分 仁淀ブルーで有名なにこ淵迄車で65分 ひろめ市場迄21分 アンパンまんミュージアム57分 四国八十八ヶ所種間寺迄7分 龍河洞迄49分 高知市の外れで静かな田舎町にありながら、各地の観光には便利な立地に有ります 暗くなって来られる方は、田舎道で暗いので、なるべく明るいうちにチェックインをお勧めします 車はその下に4台駐車出来ます 車で5.6分の所にJAのスーパーやコンビニは有りますが品数が少ないので高知市内で買い物してから来られる事をお勧めします 二階が寝室になります もし、足が悪い等一階で寝たい方は申し出てください 母屋が平家ですので、そちらでご用意させて頂きます 田舎の古民家です。夏は特に蚊蜘蛛山ゴキブリ沢蟹が家の中に入ってくる場合が有ります 虫が全く苦手という方はご遠慮下さい蚊取り線香ベープ、虫除けスプレー等は用意してます 完璧に掃除していても古民家為、煤が落ちてきて埃が有ると不快に思われるかもしれません。数分前に掃除しても床が黒なので余計に埃が目立ちます。こんな事が気になる方は、ご遠慮願います。

Ricefields, Rivers and Mountains

This house is a beautiful blend of traditional and modern making it convenient but also authentically Japanese. Mountains and ricefields are beside you, the Shimanto River can be heard. The ground floor is all yours. It's spacious with a large tatami sleeping room that can become two. The A/C is only in one room if the doors are closed. There is no central heating. Restaurants are within 10min or you can prepare local foods in your own equipped kitchen. It’s designed for long and short stays.

Beautiful Traditional House - はなれ

Embrace the “slow life.” The space is a renovated private bungalow next to our main house. Surrounded by trees and quiet, it's an oasis to unwind, unplug, have lazy breakfasts and nap in the hammock. For more active travelers, it's a good base to explore the area. We are 9 km from Shimanto City restaurants and shopping and an easy drive to activities on Shimanto River or the beach. We do require a 2-night minimum but highly encourage you to slow down and stay longer.

The observatory where the view of Kuma is seen. There is naturalness at 10 minutes at the abundant place by car from the center of Kuma.(It's possible to welcome and send off.) Barbecue is possible outside while seeing the night view and a starry sky in the evening. (Meal and the ingredients will be customer's bringing in.) It's possible to use a kitchen. It's possible to look a wonderful sea of cloud to be lucky in the morning.

※この地域に熊はいません。安心して泊まることができます。 森の中のポツンと一軒家。ジブリのような森の道を進んだ先にある立派な古民家で、BBQをしたり、焚火をしたり、五右衛門風呂を沸かしたり、山の中だからこそできる自然遊びを満喫できます。 街灯がひとつもなく、夜は満天の星空がみられることもあります。季節ごとにみられる山の姿を全身で感じながら過ごすひと時は何物にも代えがたいやすらぎです。 立派な大黒柱を中心に、土壁や備え付け収納など昔ながらそのままの古民家ですが、1階は全面無垢の杉板となっており、新しさも感じさせます。水回りは新設のアイランドキッチンや大きな洗面ボウルが特徴的です。お風呂は薪、ガス兼用の五右衛門風呂で薪で炊くことも温水を出すこともできます。 家の外には人懐っこい看板猫の青助がいて、外にいるとすり寄ってきます。 石鎚登山ロープウェイまで車で15分程度の位置にあるため、登山にも行きやすい立地です。
