Our cosy cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, one double bed and sitting room/diner with views across the valley.

Nestled in the Welsh countryside, just into the Cambrian Mountains, it enjoys the splendour of nature and peaceful calm of times past. With its own garden, this former shepherd's cottage is surrounded by rugged hills and an unspoilt rural landscape at the very end of a single-track road.

This beautiful, unspoilt detached 1820s gate lodge, with exposed beams, flagstone floor and eclectic decor, lies just a short stroll from the centre of the charming market town of Welshpool, with its fine selection of shops, inns and restaurants. Dolfan Barn Studio is so named because an artist once worked here, prior to that it was a cow byre. Just under a mile out of the village of Beulah the Studio is a perfect place to unwind. You will find plenty of wildlife to watch from the patio including Pheasants Squirrels and Red Kites. The village has a service station, shop and "The Trout Cafe" serving good home cooked food.
