Located on the Stillwater River in Nye, Montana, where adventure meets relaxation. This 2-bedroom, 1-bath home with a loft sits on a half-acre across from Pencil Falls. Just minutes from Woodbine Falls, Sioux Charlie Trailhead, and ATV trails, it’s perfect for exploring. The Stillwater River is renowned for blue ribbon trout fishing and white-water rafting. Comfortable beds await after a day of adventure. Red Lodge, the Beartooth Pass, and Yellowstone Park are all within driving distance.

Sitting in the shadow of the Beartooth mountains is our family cabin. The Cabin sits atop a bluff that overlooks the Westfork of the Stillwater river and next to a former art gallery. Riverfront access is a short walk down the bluff, with great trout fishing at your fingertips. Multiple national forest access points are a very short drive, that have great recreation opportunities and even better views. Wildlife sightings are a regular occurrence, but do watch for animals on the road.

Stargazers Sanctuary

Nestled in the foothills of the Beartooth mountains, the Sindelar cabin is a serene stay at Bench Ranch. West Rosebud creek is within walking distance, as well as several other lovely areas to explore in the foothills. Nearby you have access to Mystic Lake, Emerald Lake, Tippet Rise Art Center, and many more outdoor activities. You will be amazed at the night sky which is perfect for stargazing. And during the right time of year, you may witness the elk herds moving through the valley.

River Island House - Riverfront Luxury & Seclusion
