Stained glass, brick floor and exposed beams throughout the cottage. Our charming and cosy cottage is around half an hour from Cambridge and Saffron Walden. With ample scenic countryside walks and bridle ways on our doorstop, you're truly spoilt for choice. *We now use an Electrostatic Sprayer to disinfect all surface and soft furnishings. *

Whether you're looking for a comfortable and functional space for a business trip, or a place for you and the family for a few days, our bright, homely annex at the bottom of the garden, will provide you with everything you need for the perfect stay!. Located in the village of Barton Le Clay which has some beautiful places for walks and hikes, Cainhoe Wood Golf Club is nearby, as well as being close to Milton Keynes, Bedford, and Luton Airport. At Cambridgeshire Lakes, we believe that your holiday should start from the moment you drive down our rural, tree-lined track and into the serenity of our stunning lakeside location. Escape to the beautiful English countryside with a group of friends or family to this stunning barn conversion on the edge of Bishops Stortford. With it's exposed oak beams, log fireplace and hot tub, this is a special place to relax in comfort and unwind. We aim to provide a luxurious stay in this 3 bedroom barn conversion which can sleep up to 6 people. All three bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and we use B-Corp bedding, shampoos & conditioners.

Adjoining, yet separate to the main house, the Pavilion is so-called as the garden was once the village bowling green. Delightful views of National Trust Tudor dovecote and stables. A perfect base for riverside walks, cycling and water sports. Mainline train stations Bedford and Sandy are 15 minutes drive away.

Our charming studio apartment has a wonderful self contained shower and kitchen area. It has its own small patio area and backs on to an amazing country park, perfect for lovely walks. We are only a 10 minute drive to the airport and 15minute walk or even shorter bus ride away from the local shopping centre and railway station (20min journey to Central London). Includes wi-fi and free parking on the street.

Riverside Retreat

Nearly a century old, children call it “The Witches House” and we haven't changed it's magic. A mezzanine provides the main bedroom, a little window overlooks the lawns. Downstairs is a log burning stove, a sofa/double bed, and all facilities needed. French doors open to a patio over the river and woodland views. 40 minutes from London and you're in another world.

Enjoy your stay in the newly converted Ugley Coachhouse. The house is on a very quiet lane and is perfect for a relaxing break in the countryside. The village of Stansted and the small town of Saffron Walden are a short drive away as is Bishop's Stortford and Stansted Airport. Perfect for day trips to Cambridge or London.
