Excellent base for visiting the Wellington region and accessing the ferries: 3-min drive to the motorway (noise can be heard outside of the building, but it is peaceful and calm inside), 13-min walk to Johnsonville Centre, easy access to Uber, bus and train to city. Short 5min walk to Awarua Street train station and less than 10 mins walk to bus stops and Ngaio village shops. From there an easy 12 mins train travel to central Wellington & stadium.

With a comfy double bed and steep stairs, it’s private and quiet - brilliant on a sunny day, cosy in a storm. There's a fantastic cafe around the corner; shops are 10 minutes’ walk away. The main Island Bay bus stop is nearby with regular buses. It's a 9 minute drive to the airport and 15 minutes to downtown Wellington. Small dogs on request.
