Built entirely by our hands with help from friends & family, we carefully crafted the Shell Dome with artistic luxuries for renewal of self & ecological inspiration. Sauna. Outdoor shower. 100' Labyrinth. Projector. 20min to downtown AVL, 10 to charming Weaverville. The horizon reveals all-seasons mountain views & in the valley below a pond is fed by babbling falls and horses graze. The reviews say it all.

Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

The Doe Branch Cabin - Modern Mountain Retreat

Sense of Place. That is the inspiration here, at least in part. The cabin is situated on 12 private acres in a remote corner of Madison County, surrounded by national forest, streams, and clear mountain air. The property has a history of artist residents, and we encourage creatives of all types to come seek the inspiration found by those that came before. The town of Marshall, an artistic enclave, is 25-30 minutes away, and downtown Asheville is a 45-50 minute drive. Hiking and rafting nearby.

Charming creekside loft cottage. Perfect retreat for a romantic getaway or an adventure motorcycle ride in the beautiful scenery of pisgah national forest. Minutes away from max patch on the Appalachian trail and 30 mins from downtown Hotsprings. Relax listening to the beautiful sound of Meadowfork creek. This is one of 3 identical apartments that are perched above the main street above a provisions shop/cafe and outfitters store. Walk to restaurants, brewery, natural hot springs spa, shops, river, and trails. Clean and comfortable and on the Appalachian Trail.

The Nest, a mountainside retreat

The Nest is tucked into a grove of hemlocks, high above the creek and valley below. All types of vehicles have made the trek up the driveway, but we recommend 4-wheel drive. The seclusion of The Nest is unmatched and this tiny modern marvel comes with all you ask for, and so much more. Less than 25 min to downtown Asheville and minutes from the quaint mountain towns of Marshall and Mars Hill. Enjoy activities like hiking, skiing, and zip lines.
