Samurai residences are quiet places where time seems to have stopped, and are spaces that heal both body and mind. ★Zazen sessions are held at Zen temples for 1 hour from 6:00 a.m. on the second and fourth Saturdays. The participation fee is 1,000 yen per person. ★I am a local interpreter guide in Kitsuki City, so I could guide you around samurai residences for about 1 hour, if you would like this.

We have refurbished one apartment located in Beppu station 10 minutes on foot to make it a guest house! Convenience store · coin laundry · family restaurant etc are within walking distance and convenient location! However, hot springs do not come out. We do not serve meals. I do not have cookware. (However, there is a microwave oven and an electric kettle / refrigerator.)
