Nestled in the mountains of Nagano at an elevation of 860 meters (2,821 feet), this is a luxury home exclusively for those who want to escape tourist traps, experience a side of Japan rarely seen by outsiders, and do it in style. Our 3-bedroom home is 200 sq. meters (2153 sq. feet) large and is a marriage between traditional Japanese architecture and modern technology and comfort. The home is accessible from Tokyo and other major cities via the Shinkansen bullet train or Joshin-etsu Expressway.

Located in the heart of Hakuba Valley, this natural stone villa was newly built, nestled among the trees in a holiday homes area. It overlooks the Japanese Northern Alps. The backyard deck view of the birds’ daily visit to the birdbath will make you feel healed and relaxed. If you are interested, there is an introduction video linked in our last photo (floor plan). 4 to 10 min drive to 5 major ski slopes, and 1 to 8 min drive to convenient stores, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants.

Bunzaemon Itoigawa Private house

The first floor has four sets of mattresses in a tatami room., with kitchen, bath and toilet. The second floor has wooden flooring and a two shingle beds. You can spend comfortable time with your family or group. A microwave, a refrigerator, a washing machine, a cooker, and other daily necessities are provided. There is a seafood market, ramen shop, and supermarket in the neighborhood. There is a kitchen in the room, where you can buy fresh fish and cook for yourself.

日本庭園と床の間のある和室と洋室(ベッド2 布団3) そして古い蔵の中の隠れた空間(Jazz bar風)でゆっくり。 Our house has a traditional Japanese garden and Japanese style room with a dormitory floor There is also an Japanese traditional warehouse．(Jazz bar style) 家の周辺には果樹園や水田が広がっています。 収穫期には美味しい果物と野菜とお米を食べることができます。 This area is an agricultural promotion area There are orchards, vegetable fields and paddy fields around the house. During harvest you can eat delicious fruits and vegetables and rice.

【旅籠屋(はたごや）戸隠】 国立公園　戸隠高原の大自然に抱かれた隠れ家

飯綱山の懐にある古民家を改装したおしゃれな旅籠です。近くに何軒かの家がありますが、都会の喧騒とはかけ離れた世界です。窓外には四季折々の美しい世界が広がります。 一日一組限定の貸し切りです。家族連れで、そして楽しい仲間と水入らずの時間をお過ごしください。 戸隠神社などの観光スポットにも近く、観光の足場としての利用価値大です。 車で10分ほどの大座法師池にあるフォレストヴィレッジではジップラインやフィールドアスレチックが出来ます。近くには飯綱高原乗馬倶楽部もあり、乗馬が楽しめます。 宿に隣接してオーナーが運営する農園「ママ友ファーム戸隠　」があり、収穫体験ができます。ルバーブでジャムを作る、ブルーベリーを口いっぱいに頬張る、トウモロコシやサツマイモを焚き火で焼いて食べる、等々楽しい思い出作りに事欠きません。トマトが嫌いだった子が、自分で採ったトマトを食べて大好きになりました。そんな食育にも資すればと思い、始めた農園です。 とにかく、どの様に遊び尽くすかは貴方次第です。

Renovated to be open, modern and spacious our chalet is only 20 minutes drive from Nagano City, Togakushi and Iizuna ski resorts. It is less than 5 minutes walk to many cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter.

Maison d'hôtes KIRISIMIZU

“Maison d’hotes KIRISI MIZU”, is a Irimoya style (traditional Japanese house, similar to Temple) that has been beautifully restored from traditional materials and passed down from my grate-grand parents generation. The entire house is done in a classic style as used to be, except for a newly built kitchen, toilet and bathroom that provide all the necessities of modern life.

野尻湖の絶景を楽しむ、貸切サウナ付き一軒家 Anoie（あの家）

野尻湖を見下ろす、絶景が楽しめる一軒家です。 車で15-20分ほどの所にスキー場（妙高、黒姫、斑尾）が数カ所あり、ウィンタースポーツの拠点にもぴったり。 薪ストーブのサウナと、絶景の水風呂をお楽しみください。 周りに民家が無いので、大きな音で音楽や映画もご覧いただけます。 山奥に佇む一軒家のため、最大限の対策はしますが暖かい季節には虫が出ます。冬はたくさんの雪が降ります。秋には落ち葉が舞います。 薪ストーブの火もご自身で調整いただく必要があります。 決して簡単に住める家ではありませんが、その分とびきりの景色と体験をお約束いたします。 絶景を眺められるカウンターキッチンと、調味料、調理器を完備していますので、ぜひ料理をお楽しみください。（BBQ用の機材はありません）

Atelier FUMI is a 15-minute drive from Itoigawa Station and a 20-minute drive from the Itoigawa Interchange and Marine Dream Nou. The renovated old private house can be rented out to accommodate up to 8 people. Free parking is available on the premises for up to 6 cars. Please be assured that you will not be sharing with other guests.
