Part of a small group of exclusive holiday homes, located behind the sand dunes, with the beach just a short short stroll beyond. An idyllic setting with simply breathtaking scenary all around.

It offers complete tranquillity & lies within easy reach of the main attractions of the area (beaches, hiking, surfing, kayaking, horse riding, chasing waterfalls & sunsets). The cosy cottage is perfect for peaceful strolls across Donegal’s breathtaking beach’s& it’s the ultimate backdrop for a low-key romantic break, however, you’ll have to make friends with the cows while you’re there!

Our cosy hut consists of a comfortable bedroom with an enchanted view of Assaroe Lake: enjoy it on our 3 deckings! The cabin is very close to our house but secluded from it, buried in the woods. The room provides a tranquill escape from frantic life:- there’s Wi-Fi but no television , just a radio. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. We provide the basis for a continent breakfast. Beaches and hiking trails are very close by. WE ACCEPT PETS ONLY AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THEIR OWNER

Wake up to the stunning panoramic views over Glencolmcille Village, Glen Head and the Atlantic Ocean that are simply unforgettable.Glencolmcille village is only a ten minute walk and has a shop with fuel pumps, two pubs one serving lovely home cooked food,a cafe , post office and restaurant . Close to Glencolmcille beach and the folk village. The Slieve League cliffs and the silver strand beach are a 15 minute drive away. We have an EV charger.

We are based in an excellent position for adults/couples to explore Donegal, Sligo & Leitrim. You can enjoy walking, cycling, and horse trails locally or just soak up the scenery and relax. We are located looking over Tullan Stand which is known worldwide for its perfect surf beach breaks. *We are a working stud farm with horses and dogs/cats on-site.

It is set on 12 acres with a river running through it and a tumbling waterfall right by the cottage. Only 15 minutes drive to Donegal town, which has some really nice restaurants and bars. There is a castle to explore in the town and a wonderful craft village with a very good cafe. Ten minutes drive to Harveys Point and twelve minutes from Lough Eske castle, both reputable 5 * hotels.

Explore the nearby trails and forestry, enjoy a good book under the Wisteria pergola or simply soak in the hot tub - whatever takes your fancy!

The Barn

Entire place . Lovely light airy place with sea views, open fire , sleeps 2. Own entrance to entire place panoramic sea views with access to beach from property . Fully equipped kitchen, complimentary tea & coffee and some kitchen basics oil, flour salt pepper. Dining area, sitting room and ensuite double bedroom. Shower room downstairs in our antique shop which is opened 1-5 during the summer months.
