Enjoy feeling close to nature, warm up by the woodstove, or spot birds in the garden. Thistledown Cabin feels a world away from the city but is located close to Duncan, wineries, trails, and a 10 minute walk to Alderlea farm cafe.

Our lovely fully equipped 3 bedroom, 2 bath home features an oceanfront patio, with a Hot Tub perched on the cliff. It has stair access down to our private pebble beach. Surfside is a contemporary home with fir floors, cedar ceilings and a wood stove for romantic nights. Relax on the deck while overseeing the ocean wildlife. This is the place to get away from it all!

Designed as a place for friends and family to gather, the Youbou Lakehouse is a sanctuary where you can unwind and connect with the natural world. Enjoy private lake access, a stunning view, 2 outdoor fire pits, paddle boards, a gorgeous sauna, salt water hot tub, and a massive 85” TV with surround sound. The light filled farmhouse with cathedral ceilings has exquisite pastoral views of Glenora (Valley of Gold). No wonder it is called Golden Valley House! Visit the farm-to-table restaurant by day (Friday-Sunday from Mar-Sept.) or stargaze at night. Watch the farmers tend the vegetables while you cook up a meal in the spacious open kitchen. Biking and hiking trails and swimming within minutes. Family friendly! Vineyards close by, too. Hot yoga classes available on the farm, too.

Views and Beach Access: The Cottage at Wren Point

Completely renovated in 2018, this oceanfront cottage with wraparound deck, large windows, viewing platform and pebble beach access oozes seaside charm. Relax by the wood burning fireplace, prepare fresh meals in the new open-concept kitchen (stainless-steel appliances including dishwasher, quartz countertops and porcelain sink) or on the BBQ outside. Serve up to 6 at the dining table with views of the ocean. Go to sleep in fresh new beds with the soothing sound of the surf.

Nestled in the trees, you'll find nothing but peace and tranquility, located a few minutes walk from the famous Kinsol Trestle & the Trans Canada Trail; a haven for hikers, mountain bikers & outdoor enthusiasts. We are a 5 minute drive from West Shawnigan Lake Park (lake access) and an 8 minute drive from Masons Beach / Shawnigan village, and a 50 minute drive from Victoria.

Luxury Oceanfront House - The Cove at Otter Point

The Cove at Otter Point is a luxury oceanfront vacation rental with 180 degree breathtaking views of the Juan de Fuca Strait west of Sooke, B.C. This 3600 sq. ft. contemporary home is perfect for families or couples wanting an authentic west coast experience. Please note that we are at capacity for weddings and events for 2027 at this time unless the guest list includes only persons staying on the property. We will not be hosting weddings in 2028.

Mid-island, this rustic cabin is perfect for any couple (or small group) shacking up in the woods. Features a full kitchen inside, outhouse, outdoor shower, fire pit, covered porch & access to pebble beach trails, making this a magical retreat. Please note that while there is wi-fi at the cabin, there is no cell reception on the property, and many guests have mentioned that they’ve enjoyed the chance to unplug and connect with nature.
