MacLeod Cove is a 3-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. It typically has good cell phone coverage and we have wifi. You will also enjoy access to your own small private island that is connected by a shallow sand bar. We have signed up for the strongest internet service offered in the area (Starlink). Cellular reception is not great in the area.

If you’re joining us in the summer we are only 1.5min from east bay sand bar an amazing beach and 3min from the walking trails:) complete with fire pit and large back deck.

Our cozy cottage is located in Mira Gut, NS. Come enjoy the front patio with a beautiful view of Mira Bay! There is a private beach across the street or try Mira Gut provincial park beach approximately 1 km down the road. There is a children’s play structure onsite. The cottage has been newly renovated and is very modern and tastefully decorated - a true oasis!
