A cozy and bright, completely off-grid Cottage in the Woods with wood stove, large open main level, & loft with queen bed. Facilities include outhouse, outdoor shower with instant hot water, outdoor kitchen with camp stove, BBQ & cooler, bring ice. Sauna is available for use (bring bathrobe). Cottage is completely private & separate from main house. Breakfast included M-F. Weekend breakfast, vegetarian dinner, & massage are available upon request, before arrival, at extra cost.

Our little caboose seems to have escaped the Kettle Valley Rail Line; offering a slice of peaceful, mountain retreat. The passengers whistle with pleasure as they rest in the queen size luxury bed. Tucked away amongst the rocks, pines and burbling creek; the cute woodstove brings it together as a cozy place for dreaming. In the past two years the railroad tycoons staying here have always rated us 5 stars on cleanliness. Includes business ready wifi speeds of 350 mbps.

Near many parks, waterfalls and one of the most beautiful lakes to explore! Truly home away from home! Imagine waking up to the sound of waves lapping on the rocks, the sunrise mirrored across the water. Take your coffee out onto the private oceanfront patio where you can lounge in the hammock. Kayaking around Departure Bay is easy as the kayaks are kept just above the high tide mark, grab life jackets and paddles from the yoga room and you’re good to go. Later you can relax in the hot tub. All this 10 minutes from the shops and cafes of Nanaimo.
