Heather Cottage - Beautiful Wetland Views

Charming small cottage situated on the edge of wetlands with beautiful views. Private gazebo with covered firepit and a dock over looking the large pond. Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.

Farmstay is an old rural dairy farm. Note there is NO air conditioning only fans. Perfect for weddings, b'day celebrations etc, 15 amp p&w for 3 rvs (summer) $40 a night & lots of room to pitch a tent. A cozy and bright, completely off-grid Cottage in the Woods with wood stove, large open main level, & loft with queen bed. Facilities include outhouse, outdoor shower with instant hot water, outdoor kitchen with camp stove, BBQ & cooler, bring ice. Sauna is available for use (bring bathrobe). Cottage is completely private & separate from main house. Breakfast included M-F. Weekend breakfast, vegetarian dinner, & massage are available upon request, before arrival, at extra cost.

Our resort includes a beautiful three bedroom vacation house and land that overlooks the James River. It is surrounded by trees in the Canadian wilderness. Enjoy a relaxing time in peace and quiet. Great for families. Escape the busy life while still in comfort. Bookings are based on double occupancy with a maximum of 6 people. $40/person/night for extra guests. Discover coastal bliss in our West Coast Cottage in Campbell River, just 30 mins from Mount Washington and nestled within close driving distance to Willow Point and downtown. Enjoy breathtaking ocean & mountain views, and wildlife from bald eagles to dolphins. Fire up the BBQ on your private deck, then later come enjoy the common firepit area! The cottage does not have ocean view, however, the waterfront is only 30 meters away on our property.
