Bookings are only offered with a guided boat taxi ride from Deep Cove, round trip included per booking. Generally guests remain at the cabin for the duration of their stay making it necessary to bring all groceries needed. Once at Fernleecove the property offers a natural setting to enjoy the ocean & woods from a comfortable cabin hideaway.

Just one of three boutique styled cottages at Shoal Bay, The RAVEN COTTAGE sits on the hillside overlooking the water. There are 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen and a cozy woodstove. Small town nearby for basics. 45min to 2 larger towns with all amenities. Completely private, waterfront with misc very friendly livestock on site. With only 2 cabins, 80m apart, enjoy your own little world. Or vacation with friends, host a wedding or family reunion! If renting both cabins, we allow RV's/tents with your party for a small fee.

Heather Cottage - Beautiful Wetland Views

Charming small cottage situated on the edge of wetlands with beautiful views. Private gazebo with covered firepit and a dock over looking the large pond. Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.
