Affordable peace, quiet and privacy is our aim (1 night stays available most days). Grass camping space available (campers #3-8 will need to bring own tent/bed/linen /consumable items and supplies). The parking area is not situated by the cabin so sleeping in vehicles can only be done so at separate ends of the property. Safe ample parking sites available.

Our place is located in the heart of the beautiful Taurikura Bay only a stone throw from the waters edge with views of the bay. We are surrounded by beautiful bush walking trails suitable for all levels of fitness & beautiful beaches to choose from.

We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

A lovely fully equipped modern cottage in a rural setting on the beautiful Kaipara Harbour (only 90 mins north of Auckland). Peaceful and private, you can lounge on the bean bags on the deck, or watch the tui as you soak in the bath. Native bush runs down to an estuary outside your floor to ceiling windows. Sheep, dogs, ducks and birdlife share the property with you as well as the occassional peacock harem.
