Renovated Farmhouse with Pond-10 min to Downtown!

****NO CHILDREN BELOW AGE 12 DUE TO DEEP POND JUST OUTSIDE THE DOOR This is the original farmhouse on our 40-acre property. Recently, we updated the inside with modern amenities, while preserving much of the original charm. Note that there is a slightly uneven floor in the kitchen due to the age of the house, but the kitchen is otherwise modern. The house has a pond and water feature, and is super convenient to downtown (just 6.5 miles).

The Starling: A Small A-Frame in the Blue Ridge

Feel the mountain breeze in this air inspired rustic A-Frame. Atop the ridge, enjoy year-round views of the mountains from the back porch. Hike up Rhododendron Ridge Trail or cozy up by the wood stove with a book. Start a campfire or listen to the sounds of Bee Tree Creek in the hammock. Nightlife, food, coffee and breweries in Asheville or Black Mountain are 15 minutes away. It's an hour to Great Smokey Mountains National Park!

Our 5 acre property provides a quiet, peaceful retreat in the mountains. Long distance views from both the main deck and private hot tub deck will ensure a relaxing, back-to-nature stay. You can forget the cell phones and computers for a true break from the real world if desired...but full cell signal with all known carriers and WiFi allow for reality checks as needed.
