Yingyangpad - wheelchair/accessible accommodation

WELCOME Now open for 2026 and looking forward to greeting guests both new and old. Built under the guidance of a wheelchair using friend we have provided most, but not all, of the facilities to suit less mobile visitors, although everyone is more than welcome to stay with us. It is rustic themed and located around 5 mls (8km) from the A1 and 3 (5km) from the M62 motorway, with good road/rail and bus links. All our guests have the full private use of the detached annexe during their stay.

Two of the bedrooms can be made up as twin beds or superkingsize. The third bedroom has a double bed. There is also a cot and high chair in the apartment. Stoney Middleton has a friendly pub, village chip shop, curry cottage and The Cupola, serving food etc. Chatsworth, Bakewell, Eyam and Grindleford are all nearby.

The Woodland Garden, has a fantastic selection of mature Rhododendrons and azaleas extends to 1.5 acres, a fire pit with seating for 8-10, Two Decked areas, a Tree house, woodland pathway to access Allerthorpe Common. Betton Cottage is a spacious first floor apartment in the grounds of Betton House, a Grade 2 listed Georgian house. Breakfast is provided. The beds in the 2 bedrooms can be either formed as super kings or twin beds providing flexibility sleeping arrangements for couples or a group of friends. Featuring high ceilings and gorgeous period features.The flat is accessed by fairly steep stairs so is not suitable for guests who are unable to climb stairs.

Hootsman – A Cosy Cottage with a Wood-Fired Hot Tub Hootsman is a converted stone barn on our rare breed goat farm, set on the edge of Rosedale Abbey in the North York Moors National Park. Inside, you'll find an open-plan living kitchen with hand-painted units, a wood-burning stove, and an en-suite bedroom with a bespoke double bed.
