Atelier was inspired by painting holidays in France. It is a spacious studio at Hylands providing a base for escape, rest and adventure. It is cosy with a wood burner, uses high quality materials throughout, curated with love and care. Surrounded by beautiful gardens to explore, where you can dine al fresco or just sit and watch the wildlife and the ever changing views. It is 12 minutes walk to Kendal's many independent shops and restaurants, and 5 minutes to our local pub, the 'Riflemans Arms'.

Our beautifully converted Mill building in Oakworth set within a half-acre garden incorporates a gorgeously private 2 bedroom flat. The Old Corn Mill, which houses Bridge Flat, has in fact over time had several uses - from a shuttle mill, to a workshop for the once grand estate of Sir Isaac Holden. We live in the flat above, so close enough to ensure you have everything you need, but with your own entrance & parking area, you would think you were staying away from it all, in the countryside.

Cosy, ground floor, one room apartment. The Snug has twin beds (or superking size on request) a kitchenette and en suite shower, flat screen TV with full SKY package, including Sports. Ideal for walkers, The Dales Way and Buckden Pike nearby alongside other circular hikes from the doorstep. Eating out, The Buck Inn is opposite and The George Inn, Hubberholme is a 20 minute walk along The River Wharfe. Buckden is a delightful place to visit, described by many guests as a hidden gem.
