Welcoming Lake District rooms with lovely views

We are in the tranquil Western Lake District National Park close to the Coast to Coast bike route and with plenty of walking right from the door. Your comfortable ensuite bedroom and own breakfast / sitting room is upstairs so has gorgeous views across to woods and fells. The bedroom can be set up as two singles or one kingsize bed. We can provide a delicious basket of local and home-made food for a help-yourself- breakfast for £5 per person. There is parking and a garage for storing bikes.

Isabel’s Cottage is owned by Lisa & Ivan. We live just next door. Located on the edge of the Lake District, tucked away in the old part of Great Broughton, on a quiet lane just off the Main Street with lovely walks along the River Derwent right from the doorstep & views over the river & western fells. Cockermouth & Keswick are a short drive away along with the seaside towns of Maryport & Whitehaven & the beaches at Allonby & St Bees. Easy access to the Lakes & the Western Wainwright Fells.

Chapel Cottage, Distington on the edge of the Lake District in Cumbria. Built in 1838, originally an outbuilding for a Methodist Chapel which has undergone a full renovation and conversion into a quirky 1 bedroom house which is filled with amazing features and full of character! A modern take on a historic building, keeping some of the original heritage but with a modern contemporary feel! The ideal getaway location for a relaxed break near the lakes, with local amenities. The Mews is a beautifully converted barn, once part of a larger farm, it is now one of a small complex of buildings , surrounded by farmland and overlooking the hills and valleys of the NW Lakes. This is the most peaceful and picturesque area of the Lake District. The location is perfect for walking , cycling, running, open water swimming etc... or for those who like to take things a little easier it is perfect for day trips into the lakes and toward the lesser know scenic west coast .

Ideal for couples, walkers, cyclists, or families as a base for exploring the stunning Western Lake District. Loweswater, Crummock, Buttermere, Keswick and the Coast are all within half an hour. It's been stylishly refurbished with a large dining kitchen, cosy living room with comfy leather sofas and fireplace and a dedicated office area for those who need to do some work whilst away!
