Our home is a comfortable space for families & friends on an adventure, getaway, staycation or as a remote work place. Located on 1.5 acres in Lake Elmore, VT you'll enjoy both peace and beauty. The Lake & Elmore State Park are only 1/2 mile away. The classic New England village of Stowe is our close by neighbor.

Historic House in the Village of Hardwick

Rochester House is near restaurants, trails, family-friendly activities, and lake beaches. It's convenient to many destinations, including, Hill Farmstead, Caspian Lake (beach) and Craftsbury. A short walk to the Farmer's Market, grocery stores, and most village restaurants. Downtown is .7 miles, 15 min walk. This may be too far in winter. There is a city plowed sidewalk all the way during snow season if needed. House of Pizza is only 2 blocks. We are in the village, please respect neighbors.

Very quiet, relaxing and cozy. It has a decompressing effect on it's guests. Perfect to rest your head. Not suitable for children under 12 years old. Amazing gourmet kitchen. WE HAVE HIGH SPEED INTERNET. Fly into Burlington and rent a car, it will be approximately a 40min. Drive to Middlesex.
