Unwind at this lakefront retreat. The cabin is very private and comfortable. It is an excellent spot for swimming, boating and sunsets. There are 2 SUP's, a double kayak, a single kayak, and lifejackets. No fires or activities in the woods until Oct 15 unless the NS gov’t lifts the present restrictions! Note: The cabin is well insulated and is heated by wood stove alone. If interested in booking between Oct. and May you must be proficient using a wood stove. Please message if this is the case.

Birch Burn Retreat, a former 19th-century church, offers a tranquil escape with forest walks, hammock relaxation and firepit nights. It has electricity, heat pump, wifi, and a simple kitchen with a mini fridge. Accommodations include double/queen beds for four adults or a larger family with camp cots. The dock and canoe at the lake are available for use during the summer months but will be removed in October until spring. Ski Martock/Ontree, Bent Ridge Winery are within a 10min drive from Chalet Hamlet.
