This is a unique rustic cabin on a private dirt road nestled on a mountain brook in the forest adjoining the Giant Mountain Wilderness Area. This small (200 sq ft + 80 sq ft sleeping loft), Adirondack style cabin was completely refurbished this past year using locally sourced woods and built by hand. Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and a private entrance with on-site parking. We are not far away from all the fun in Lake Placid/ Lake George or a day trip into Vt. Walk the bridge. NO ADDITIONAL FEES! Wake up to the sounds and sights of a relaxing Adirondack stream, next to the Barton Brook in charming, little Elizabethtown, NY. The building is in our backyard and the inside is roughly 7x7 with one single twin sized bed, dresser with three drawers, a dorm sized fridge, coffee maker, outlets, a light inside and on the open porch. We have a screened hammock next to the cabin. Enjoy your morning coffee or read a book sitting in the Amish rocker by the outdoor fireplace.
