Enjoy our private barrel-sauna, fire-pit, gas grill, pond with canoes and kayak or Wolf Creek with a private crystal-clear swimming hole! Or just chill on the ridge watching the many birds and wildlife. Just over an hour drive from the Twin Cities, a romantic and memorable stay awaits you!

YurtCation

YurtCation is an off-grid getaway with lake frontage and nature trails. There is another yurt about 300ft up the same driveway. There are a total of two yurts and two homes that have access to the same 17 acre lake. Each yurt has their own queen-sized comfy bed, wood stove, Weber grill w/charcoal, fire pit, firewood, fresh water, canoe, and clean Porto Potty. The yurts are about 80 feet from the lake’s ordinary high water mark to comply with zoning. We are fully permitted and have many repeats.

Slow down at Fraser Fir log cabin, built in 1958 on Kettle Moraine Lake. In the summer, enjoy quiet moments watching the sun set from the front porch, then relax by the fire pit under a sky full of stars. Fish from the dock, kayak around the lake, or bring your boat to soak up the sun. In the winter, grab your ice-skates or ice-fishing gear and head out on the lake. Staying in a dome amidst nature is a unique experience. The circular structure offers an amazing view of the surroundings, with peaceful sounds of rustling leaves, chirping birds, and a flowing river below. The cozy dome has a queen size bed, night stands, a seating area, mini fridge, and a k-cup coffee maker & heater/ac. At night, the starry sky and nature's sounds lull you to sleep. Waking up, you feel refreshed, and the peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views leave a lasting impression.

Nordic Lake Cabin : Sauna/Hot Tub/Pontoon Rental

We finished building this modern Scandinavian cabin in spring 2020. It’s been featured in Vogue and on Magnolia Network. The cabin sits at the end of the road on a private lot with a perfect view of sunsets over the nature side of the lake. Drive past farm fields, into the woods, and onto our private gravel road, arriving at the driveway. Watch loons, tundra swans, eagles, beavers and deer while you relax by the lake. Pontoon boat rental is available as an add on! Pets welcome for a $90 fee!

Sasquatch Shores: Cozy Lakeside Cabin on Star Lake

Resting on Star Lake and tucked into the north woods, this tiny home offers the tranquility you need to completely decompress. The Sasquatch Shores cabin is right on Star Lake, a quiet no wake lake that gives you the peace and quiet you want. Watch the sunset off of the dock or cast a line into the water! The cabin is also situated right on the ATV trail. The main offers a King sized bed and the guest room offers a Queen/Twin Loft bed. There is also sectional couch as a sleeping option!
