Wansfell Holme is a beautiful Grade 2 Listed period house set in a perfect location in the Lake District National Park, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. We have incredible views over Lake Windermere (100 yards from the house), and there is easy access to the lake, woods and fells . In addition, Waterhead and Ambleside are within easy walking distance, and we are more or less central for visits to other parts of the Lake District by car.

Fir Cottage is a traditional Lakeland Terraced Victorian home ideally located to explore the Lake District. It is a 10 minute walk to the village of Bowness, where shops, restaurants, and of course Lake Windermere is located or a 10 minute walk to Windermere village for more cafes, shops and restaurants.
