The "Whispering Trees Luxury Cottage" is your quiet, cozy country getaway just 2 miles from town, across the street from the Mad River and 5 miles from the beach. Cruising up the long driveway, you'll be welcomed by our mustang, and adorable donkeys. We welcome guests of all backgrounds and love making new friends. The real appeal, however, is the majestic Trinity River just 200 feet from your stay. Come fish in the fall, swim in the summer, and relax and enjoy year round. Walking trails and places to explore along the river, seasonal fruit and veggies to enjoy on the farm makes this a nature lover’s get away.

Wake up to the redwoods, head into town to enjoy a cappuccino at a local coffee shop, located only 15 minutes away from the Arcata Plaza, come back to enjoy a dip in the hot tub, then get a goodnights rest on our memory foam mattress, 100% cotton sheets and memory foam pillows. 2nd set of sheets & pillows will only be included for 3+ guests! 4/20 friendly :) Property is shared with our main cabin. NO FIRES ALLOWED - anyone who breaks this rule will be fined $300.
