Demeter Cottage is a traditional fisherman's cottage located in White Horse Yard, behind the cobbled streets in the heart of the old town. Its just a stone's throw from the beach, harbour, shops and restaurants/bars, but tucked away for peace and quiet. Sleeping up to 4 guests, featuring a kitchen and cosy living area with fire; together with a private outdoor space to catch the afternoon sun. Access is via a few flights of steps, so may not be suitable for people with mobility difficulty.

The Shoemakers Cottage has undoubtedly one of the best locations in Whitby right at the bottom of the 199 steps tucked in a quiet alley off the cobbled street. A small but cosy romantic cottage over 3 floors close to the harbour, the abbey and very close to Tate Hill Beach. BBQ and picnic basket set provided. Romantic victorian freestanding bath in the main bedroom. Arrival is down the busy cobbled church street. Best location. On-street parking scratch card provided in the W zone 10min walk.

The Chapter House

The Chapter House is a spacious and quirky Grade II listed cottage nestled in the heart of Whitby. This central location is ideal for families and friends to use as a base to explore all that Whitby has to offer. The house started life in 1891 as a church Vestry and retains much of its original character. Please note, the church which it was part of is now a cafe and music venue. Beyond the Gothic stained glass windows, the Chapter house has all the modern amentities of a holiday hideaway

Secret Garden Hideaway at Summer Hills Whitby

Secret Garden Hideaway occupies one of the most secret locations in the Centre of Whitby at Summer Hills, with a private garden accessed from the St Hildas Terrace behind a stone wall at the top of Flowergate it has guests returning to this wonderful location. Kitchen (kettle, toaster, cooker, microwave, fridge freezer) hair dryer, TV, DVD, shower/jacuzzi bath, towels, wifi, bed linen, iron, 1 double bed & a sofa bed downstairs, 2 twin beds & single bed upstairs. Parking directly outside.

Appleton House, Whitby Harbour - Beach side

Beautiful holiday cottage located on Tate Hill beach in Whitby. 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. The cottage has a lovely living area running from front to back comprising of a fitted kitchen with quartz countertops, dining & lounge area. The french doors & glass Juliet balcony allow unrestricted views across the sand below, harbour & out to sea. 4 guests max, no pets, no parties (requested quite time 10pm-7am) There is no parking in this area & cottage is unsuitable for children under 10 years old

The property sleeps four people in a king size bedroom and another with twin beds, on the lower ground floor. Situated on a narrow cobbled street just a yards off a main shopping street, there is Free nearby parking (scratchcard provided). See Whitby Abbey from the front door and the cliff top from the end of the road. Shop around the corner for milk, bread, newspaper or wine. Stylish cafes, restaurants, & micro brewery a few minutes away. Free wifi, Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, spacious en-suite and rainforest shower.

Cafes, restaurants and bakery all within 2 minutes walk. Situated off the cobbled Church Street. up a quiet yard. The cottage is peaceful and quiet. Stable door opens into the garden. First floor is a light airy double bedroom, bathroom. Second floor is twin bedroom and snug with views. Steps up to the cottage.

Old Forge in Wrelton, North Yorkshire.

This cottage, in the village of Wrelton near Pickering, was a 19th century blacksmith's forge and has now been renovated into a delightful living space complete with fully-equipped kitchen, large living room area, bathroom with walk-in shower and a cosy bedroom located on a mezzanine floor which is reached via a spiral staircase. The Old Forge offers a great location for a relaxing stay in beautiful North Yorkshire.
