We can accommodate 2 extras in the Pod Room at extra cost. Located in the heart of Rotoma, close to Cafe , boat ramp & GAS station. One of only 10 properties on the lake side with a reserve area at the rear of the property. 30 minute drive from Rotorua & 40 minutes from Whakatane. Suitable for family groups wanting spend time together, or couples wanting time out. Dec - March & long weekends, priority will be given to longer bookings, particularly for January which will be 5 nights or more.

Ohiwa Harbour Studio

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac and overlooking a grassy reserve & native bush, this self contained studio features a brand new ensuite and kitchenette. Take in the beautiful view of Ohiwa Harbour and the native birdlife from the comfort of your bed or from the private deck. Make use of our kayaks and paddle board on the harbour, relax in the heated pool, or take an easy stroll over to Ohope beach for a swim. Across the road you can find multiple cafes, restaurants, and bars. Within 80 metres there is access to the patrolled Ohope beach, voted NZs favourite beach and renowned for great swimming , surfing and walks Drive 10mins (6km) to the town of Whakatane - a great little town with a selection of shops and dining options.

The Lion House - Rotoiti Lakefront, Beach & Jetty
