Delaney’s Compound- Peaceful Respite on the Point!

Delaney’s Compound Guest House accommodates up to 4 guests. Dogs are welcome with pre-approval & $75 fee (for 1st pet). A small fenced yard keeps them safe! The Guest House was built using reclaimed lumber & other charming elements from the original farmhouse outbuilding (circa 1889). There’s a cozy fireplace for snuggling and a second floor balcony for coffee or cocktails. The front yard has a fire pit and river views. The Guest House is sparkling clean, fully furnished & ready to welcome you!

The community has 3 beaches: a private sandy lake beach with a swimming dock, a river-front sandy beach with 15 million+ old shark teeth, and a fossil cliff beach. Fishing! Hot tub on the patio! Come relax with family and friends on the back deck with fantastic views of the Potomac River! Bring your kayak, paddle board and fishing gear and access the river from the property or head to the community beach a few minutes walk down the road. Our home was built in 1990 as a place to enjoy the river and area. Our kids and their many cousins grew up spending summers and weekends on the water. Now that they are grown, we would like to share our home with you!
